Now I go forth in this world, alone, with no earthly mother or father to guide me. Let me take with me on this journey what I have learned from you, Walt, as a foundation of ethics, truth, strength, and wisdom. God, grant me the grace to build upon that foundation through relationships with my family and others, so that I may raise my two sons in such a manner that when I pass from this earthly domain, I do so sound in the knowledge that I too, did my best. Walt, you live on in my memories, and I will miss you until we all arrive home, once again.
