Mr. Rhoden endured a great deal and remained strong throughout...A tribute to a remarkable man. My thoughts and prayers are both with him, and you,the family.
I have missed chatting with J.T. at the postoffice as we gathered our mail. He was always a gentleman with a smile when we spoke. My sympathy for your loss.
Mr. Rhoden was one of our favorite chemotherapy patients. Just a few weeks ago, one of the nurses realized it was going to be his birthday, and she baked him a homemade chocolate cake with strawberry filling. We all sang "Happy Birthday" to him, and he was so excited to have a suprise birthday party, even if is was at the Cancer center, and we were all out of tune....We will really miss him.
