Morrisett Family,
I was a CAP cadet under Mr and Mrs M from 1973 until 1982 in the Aiken Composite squadron. They were wonderful people who cared deeply about the cadets and their welfare. I spent many an afternoon with my friends at their house on Coker Avenue eating pizza and talking about the Air Force, CAP, and flying. I went to countless meetings, encampments, and SAR missions with them. I credit them with starting my successful 25 year career in the USAF as a B-1 weapons systems officer and navigator. May God bless!!

I was a Civil Air Patrol cadet in Aiken during the late 1950's, and served under the supervision and guidance of Cliff Morrisset. He had a very positive influence on my life. I will remember him always.

I want to express my condolences to the Morrisset family for the loss of Cliff. Cliff and his dedicated wife Helen played an important and instrumental part in my development as a youth through their leadership in the Aiken Civil Air Patrol cadet program. Some of my fondest memories in high school are of the love and leadership displayed by Cliff and Helen in working with many of us who were struggling for identity and direction in life. I am now so glad that Cooper Guy and I went to visit Cliff in Windsor a few years ago and were able to share old times together from CAP during the late 1950s; it was precious for all of us. I will always remember Cliff as a dedicated teacher, family man, close friend, and a man with a big smile and a big heart – one who cared deeply for those under his tutelage. He certainly will be missed by those who remember him.

Carol,
I am so sorry to see the passing of your dad. I know he has had health issues for a long while, but it appears that he kept on going and doing what he loved as long as he could. Just to let you know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Sincerely, Stephanie House
