Our sincerest condolences and prayers are with the entire family. I've gotten to know Brian over the past couple of years, and we share not only our Roman Catholic faith, but the heritage of families who immigrated from Czechoslovakia. We've shared as Christian brothers a bit of what your family has been through as Johanna's health deteriorated, as well as what I've gone through losing my Dad suddenly,an aunt,an uncle,a mother-in-law,and a grandmother-in-law all in 2006. Trust God that Johanna is now where she belongs and deserves to be, and will be waiting for each of us to join her in Heaven. Never forget that you now have a Saint at God's side, a very special place to intervene and ask God's favor on each of you. God Bless! Dave Tich

Grandmom,
What I remember most is that everytime that I saw you, you told me that you loved me. Also, you said all the girls would be after me. You always said both of these statements, with a big smile on your face. I know that you loved me, and that will carry me through the ups and downs of life. I love and miss you with all my heart.

To Grandma:
I think we take for granted all the moments that go by. Every goodbye leads to promises of another visit and that extra second together seems all the worthwhile. We never anticipate the final goodbye and the final hug that we exchange. I hold with me your enthusiasm and caringness for life and everyone around you. It is this caringness that has made me a better person in return. Your smile and laughter will forever remain in my memory. I will always love and remember you, and may you rest in peace forever.
Love, Your grandson Justin

Grandmom was a wonderful woman full of great stories that a grandson treasured. Most of all I loved her small affectionate gestures and the ways she always let me know how proud she was of me. I will miss her very much.
