Dear Jennie & Family,
We are so sorry for the loss of your mother. When Brian & I moved to Aiken almost 25 years ago Mrs. Thomas was my Nursing Director at what was then Aiken Community Hospital, she took me under her wing, as she did with many others. I am glad to have had the priviledge of knowing & learning from such a compassionate and caring person, she will be missed and fondly remembered by myself & everyone who knew her. You and your family are in our prayers.
With deepest sympathy,
Tawney & Brian Gavin

I first met Ms. Thomas in 1976 my first day of work at the then "Aiken Community Hospital". I am honored to have known her and to have been her friend. My thoughts and prayers are with the Thomas family during this difficult time. Take solace in knowing that she touched so many lives during her career. She will never be forgotten.

I knew Nancy years ago. She was friends with my uncle, Cliff Garvin. I remember many weekends spent in Wagener. Nancy was a good person and nurse. She gave me my first "real" job. I'm sorry to hear of her passing.

Nancy's dear family,
So sorry to hear of mom's passing. You were her children first, but then there are the hundreds and maybe thousands of us whom she raised as healthcare providers of every kind. Al and I have so many fond memories of our years together with your family as you all grew up along with us, our children and grandchildren. Thanks for sharing her with us--it meant so much because she had so much to give and gave so willingly. Your grief is our grief-we will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. She will surely be missed but we know we'll meet again one day.
