Lisa, Lori, and Mrs. Jacobs-
I am so sorry for your loss. I wish I could have been there to remember such a kind man. You have all been such a wonderful family to me, taking me in while attending USC with Lisa. I am so happy that I was able to see Mr. Jacobs last May. He was a wonderful, caring, gentle man. I know his faith has led him to a wonderful place and that he is now watching over all of you. I first met Roy during some technical problem at DWPF, when he was helping from SRTC. Later we worked together on the Salt Waste project. I was always impressed by his dedication to the job and the consistent, level-headed manner with which he approached problems. Even as his health deteriorated, I admired and was inspired by his tenacity to continue making a difference.
Though I have never met those of you in his family, I want you to know that your husband/father was a truly a gentleman and a scholar and I have been blessed to have known him and spent some time working with Him. May God bless you in the difficult days ahead. My wife and I will be praying for you during this time.

I can\'t express into words the sorrow I have For you all.
But the memories I have of Mr. Jacobs are readily
told:
