Coach Goodale was so imporant to me. I would like to share something that he did that was very important to me, I\'m pretty sure this will touch your heart just as much as mine. Once in the locker room, we were all sitting around and somehow we started talking about guys. Goody then gave us a little talk all about guys. How we shouldn\'t ever lower our standards for guys, guys were scum, and to remember to be true to yourself. It was like a classic Daddy speech. It is my favorite memory of Goody.

I remember Mike as he came in the gym for volleyball practice. He wasn\'t sure about how the girls would receive him, but they took to him not long afterward and are there even now. We will miss your smile and humor here at SBHS, Mike.

I am a fraternity brother from Georgia Southern. There are too many memories to share them all. I am thankful that I recently got to spend some time with Mike Goodale, Mike Huff and Daryl Shipman as well as the rest of the Goodale family. That was a time visiting and recalling our fraternity days that I will not forget.
I have always admired the relationship that Mike and Pat have. A relationship that carried Mike through the days he was at Georgia Southern and Pat was back in Winston Salem. I have always remembered that when I had to travel and be away from my family.
My thoughts and prayers continue to be with Pat, Karen, Chris, Mom and Mom.
