I just learned of Dr. Mosley's death and I am so very sorry for your loss. I went to high school with Mary Beth and Benji and remember Dr. Mosley leading music at Foreman when I was just a little girl. His love of music was contagious and my whole family thought highly of him. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I am so sorry to learn of your loss. I worked with Clanton on the hydrogen bus project at STC. His intelligence and fabulous sense of humor made our work together so enjoyable and I loved our opportunities to chat about his contributions to the Scouts, church, and his genealogy projects. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. And thank you so much, Ben, for reaching us via Clanton's email accounts.

Clanton was a delight to work with, both at SRS and at STC. And it was a wonderful surprise to see him at Eden Gardens when he came there with his church group of friends to provide music and worship for the residents of Eden Gardens.
Reading Clanton's obituary reminds me of how little we know of the people we work with, and how many-faceted they actually are if we would take the opportunity to get to know them.
It was comforting to me to know that Clanton was a part of this community -- I just liked his "being here" with us. Those who knew him on a daily basis were truly blessed.

I am so sorry for the loss of Mr. Clanton. He was one of the first people to teach me to love and appreciate music through church childrens music. I always wanted to take his bag of instruments home. Even as a teenager and young adult he still helped me to become a better musician. You all are in my thoughts and prayers!
With much love,
Brandi

Judy and I were deepened saddened to hear of Clanton's death. We loved him and all the family. During our days at Millbrook he was a faithful and effective leader and a very helpful fellow servant. One of my favorite memories of Clanton comes from a question someone asked him "Why do you all at Millbrook baptize someone, maybe only one, at the beginning of the 11:00 service every Sunday. Clanton, who had a heart for evangelism, just said, "It is a wonderful way to start a worship service." The churches of Aiken County will surely miss him.

Betty, Mary Beth, Ben & families,
We were so sad to hear about your loss. Clanton was so very special to us. Our early days at Millbrook in his Sunday School class are some of our fondest memories. We had some wonderful times together. We talked to the McAlhaney's last night and we recalled our trip to Atlanta to the Braves game and the fun we had together. Most of all he was a wonderful teacher and example to us. We give thanks to God for Clanton's life and the part he played in our lives. May God give you HIS peace and strength during the coming days. Our thoughts and prayers are with you!
In His love,
Stanley & Mary Helen Moody

Mrs. Mosley and Family:
My name is Lynda Moseley. Clanton was my cousin, several times removed, as well as my Co-Administrator at the Mosley/Moseley DNA Surname Group Project. All of us involved in the project were so very sorry to hear of Clanton's death.
Clanton originated the DNA project and was largely responsible for its success. He was a kind and generous man who was always willing to share his family history and to help new researchers. He will be greatly missed.
You are all in our thoughts and prayers. My sincerest condolences to you and your families.
