Mrs Eleanor "Ele" Lybrand Cato, age 81, of Aiken, SC, passed away on April 8, 2011. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 3pm at GEORGE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTER, 211 Park Ave. SW Aiken. Interment will follow at Ridge Spring Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Cato was a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church and a graduate of Aiken High School. She was retired as a secretary for the ecology lab at the. Savannah River Site. She was the daughter of the late James and Leota Lott Lybrand and was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Cato. She leaves behind her son, Joseph Diane Cato of Richland, WA; grandchildren, Jennifer Christopher Binder of Greenville, SC, and Jonathan Cato of Richland, WA; great-grandson, Ellis Binder of Greenville, SC; sister-in-law Harriette Crouch of Hartsville, SC; and extended family Butch, Susan, Gabe, Jessica and Jordan Holsomback of Aiken, SC.
