I was so saddened to read of Kathy"s passing. So many times over the years, I did not know where she lived & I would have loved to talk to her. We were friends all thru grade school & high school & many of us at The Knoxville Christian Church. Dorothy,you are in my prayers, you & Bud were so good to me. I just found out about Kathy's passing today. It was quite a shock. Just a few weeks ago I made a rather feeble attempt to reconnect with Kathy via Facebook. We hadn't seen each other for 40+ years, way too long. My thoughts are with you during these difficult times,
Dorothy - We just heard of Kathy's untimely passing. A lot of wonderful memories flooded my mind of our times in Knoxville and Galesburg. Our thoughts and prayers will always be with you.

I am back home in Illinois visiting my mother and saw the notice in the paper. I was sadened to hear the news. Kathy was in the class behind me, but was a favorite of everyone in our high school who knew her. What was said about her in the notice is very true, she was a kind, friendly person and all who knew her will feel a big loss.
Steve and I are deeply saddened to hear of Kathys passing. I have known Kathy for many years, meeting her at the wound care center in Aiken were she attended to my care. Kathy was not only a wonderful nurse but a compassionate person who became a very dear friend to me. She was always kind and upbeat. Her love for animals was admirable and sincere. My husband and I will miss her dearly. Our thoughts and prayers are with her mother, friends and coworkers. On future visits to the Aiken Wound Care Center we will always feel her presence and will miss her dearly.
Kathy was the best wound care nurse and associate a new nurse could have. She was caring and loving. She taught with patience and kindness. She helped to make me the nurse I am today. My condolences to her Mother.
Mrs. Templeton, my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time..First met you and Kathy at Mattie Hall and would see you always together at gardening events and also our yard..I am happy to have called Kathy my friend and will cherish the garden plaque she gave me years ago and the last time I saw Kathy she had her buggy at Wal Mart full of dog food. Wonderful memories!
Miss Dorothy I just wanted to tell you how sorry I was to hear about Kathy. We were out of touch these last several years but I thought of both of you often. Every time I drove past your house or passed a car like Kathy's I wondered how you were doing. Kathy was always there for me and I truly loved her.
