Mrs. Sally B. Fox of Batesburg entered into rest on Wednesday, April 23, 2008. She was born on September 10, 1933 in Lexington County, SC to the late Paul and Gladys Boatwright. She resided in Aiken County for most of her life. Ms. Sally was an active member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Johnston. She retired from Aiken County as Tax Assessor and served as Tax Assessor for Edgefield County. She was predeceased by her parents Paul and Gladys Boatwright, two brothers, Paul Boatwright, Jr. and Gordon Edward Boatwright and a sister, Rachel B. McKay. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Thomas Lenward Fox, and six sons, Thomas A.Debbie Fox of Batesburg, Michael L. Tina Fox of Chapin, Steven R. Cheryl Fox of Aiken, Kenneth J. Fox of Batesburg, Joey B. Lisa Fox of Aiken, and Keith B. Betsy Fox of Monetta, eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, four sisters: Barbara B. Carroll Fulmer of Clermont, FL, Becky Rick Golliher of West Columbia, Judy Chambers of Charleston, Paula S. Hook of Aiken, six brothers: Bennie L. Pat Boatwright of Johnston, David A. Boatwright of Indian Neck, VA, Monty S. Renee Boatwright of Aiken, Randy M. Mandy Boatwright of North Augusta, James K. Kathy Boatwright, Richard Audie Boatwright of Johnston. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 25, 2008 at 2 pm at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 1186 Mt. Calvary Road, Johnston, SC. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Monty Boatwright, Randy Boatwright, James Ricky Boatwright, Jason Fox, Eric Fox, and Adam Fox.
