Micky,
I wanted to share my thoughts and memories of your mom and what she meant to me. I had never met a true southern belle until I met your mom. I loved that southern accent and sweet attitude. I will never forget her generosity or love for her family. At The Citadel I viewed your house as a welcome getaway. I remember you called home to ask if she would mind another guest for the weekend, she replied, â??Bring him on I am already cooking two chickens for Sunday dinner.â? She took in anyone that needed her. Whether a homeless friend or a needy child, she was there. She suffered valiantly in recent years but never seemed to lose her hope or positive attitude. Thanks for allowing me to be a small part of your family. I always wanted a brother and you are the closest thing I have to one.
