To Dickie Whittington's family, please accept my sincerest condolences on the loss of Dickie. He was truly a wonderful guy. I knew him in the late sixties and enjoyed his friendship during those years. We went to see "Bonnie and Clyde" and we imagined that we both looked the parts of the characters. He was wildly imaginative. Sheila once called me to see if Dickie had tattooed his entire body. I shared that it all looked temporary to me, much to her relief. He has been in my heart lately and I was deeply saddened to hear of his his passing from my brother, Bubby Cunningham, today.
I will always remember him fondly. As long as you hold him in your memories, he will always be with us all.
