Naomi,
We were saddened to hear about Joe\'s passing. Please know we share your loss.
A few years ago, we met at the Senior Men\'s Club. Joe said, I taught your son George Zirps. He was one of my best students. I said, I am the only George Zirps and you were one of the best teachers I had. We had many happy discussions about Nyack. I told Bob Scott, who also had moved to Aiken, about Joe. They got together.
Being from a family with many teachers, I know how great a contribution they make in the lives of their students. Joe will always be remembered gratefully by his.
