I read of Barbara\'s passing in the Chronicle this morning and would like to express my deepest condolences to her family. I didn\'t really know her, I had the pleasure of meeting her twenty-five or so years ago. A good friend of mine in middle school, Angel Williams introduced me to her. And for some reason, I can\'t exactly remember what it was about Barbara, maybe it was her smile, her laugh, her kindness to a stranger. Whatever it was, it spook volumes to me and I have never forgotten it. What a special person she was! Again, my deepest condolences.
