Barbara was such a joy to me and a billion others. When I came to Hospice of Citrus County ten years ago she welcomed me and mentored me in true hospice care. She remained a steadfast volunteer in heart and mind and was such an asset to the community in so many ways. I am so glad that due to the newspaper article locally, I was aware that Barbara and Bob were moving and that I was able to have a chat before she left. I wish the best to Bob and the family. I am so grateful that you have countless memories to honor. I join you in celebrating her! Wendy Hapner

Dear Bob,
I read about Barbara passing in the Chronicle today. I am so very sorry to learn of the bad news. I have fond memories of her from being a student in her class in Crystal River. In addition when I was a small child I used to visit at your home in Dixie Shores as I was a good friend of Blair\'s. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless. Richard Brady,Crystal River.

I read of Barbara\'s passing in the Chronicle this morning and would like to express my deepest condolences to her family. I didn\'t really know her, I had the pleasure of meeting her twenty-five or so years ago. A good friend of mine in middle school, Angel Williams introduced me to her. And for some reason, I can\'t exactly remember what it was about Barbara, maybe it was her smile, her laugh, her kindness to a stranger. Whatever it was, it spook volumes to me and I have never forgotten it. What a special person she was! Again, my deepest condolences.
