Memorial services for Mrs. Debra Kay Binns will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 11:00 am at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave, SW, Aiken. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Abbeville, SC at 3:00 pm. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Friday, June 25, 2010 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to Aiken SPCA, 401 Wire Rd, Aiken, SC, 29801. Mrs. Binns, 56, of Aiken, died Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston. Born in Troy, NC, she was the daughter of Anne and Tom Tarlton, Sr. She lived in various cities before moving to Aiken in 1989. She had worked at SRP Federal Credit Union for over twenty three years, most recently as a compliance manager. Debra liked gardening and taking care of stray animals. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Ronnie Binns, daughter, Deidra Kris Heath, Aiken; son, Chad Heather Warner, Grovetown, GA; step daughter, Emily Binn, Charleston, SC; sister, Judy McClendon, Flat Rock, NC; step brother, Tom Tarlton, Troy, NC; grandchildren, Austin Heath, Taylor Binns, KJ Hoops, Trenton Warner, Victoria Warner, Devyn Hoops, Chloe Heath, and Annabelle Heath.
