Many members of the department have retired or moved on but there are still a few of us who were here when Frances was. We appreciated her work and dedication to the university and we are sorry for your loss.
Mrs. Frances Carleton was my co-worker and my friend when she worked at USC Aiken. She inspired me by her professionalism and her excellent attitude. I was very saddened to hear of her illness and passing. I offer her family my most sincere condolences.
I was so sorry to hear that Ms. Carleton had passed. She was such a special lady. I looked forward to going to her house regularly, she always made me smile with that "Tell it like it is " attitude! I am so glad that God put her and I together for the time short period of time. She will be truely missed. RIP!!
Mrs. Frances has had immeasurable impact on my life and the lives of my husband and two sons. She told me once that Foreman Memorial was a "good little church" and after 33 years I still agree. We still live happily in the house she built and sold to us in 1979. I saw her at Anchor Rehab a few weeks ago and was so sorry for her condition, but so blessed by her sweet spirit.
