Obituary of Maxine Jean Scotten

Mrs.Maxine Jean Scotten, 86, of Aiken, died Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at National Health Care, North Augusta, SC.
Born in Kansas City, MO, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Ruth Hopkins Frasch. She lived in various cities before moving to Aiken in 1952 and was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Maxine retired after working many years as a billing specialist for pediatrician Dr. Eugene McManus. She loved to play bridge, arrange flowers, sew, and read. Maxine was a loving mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, William Cordell Scotten. She is survived by her children, Stephen Scotten, Glen Cove, NY; Sue Anne Moore, Hanahan, SC; David Donna Scotten, Windsor, SC; grandchildren, Patrick Servedio, Nicole Keith Amerson, Hagan Scotten, Emily Scotten, Jonathan Scotten, Michaela Scotten, Melanie Scotten, and great grandchild, Zachary Amerson.
Memorial services will take place on Sunday, August 9, 2009 at 3pm at First Presbyterian Church, Aiken. The family will receive friends in the church parlor after the service. George Funeral Home & Cremation Center is assisting the family.
