When I look back on my childhood, I feel we were all one big extended family...and I never roast a turkey without remembering the many Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners we shared. Your family played such a huge part in all those special years.

I am so sorry for your loss. When I think of Maxine, I first think of her bright smile and sparkling eyes. She was an incredibly sweet lady. I recall get-togethers at the church for Boy Scout events, and also talking with her about wonderful Dr. McManus, her boss and our pediatrician. Every time I pass her old house I place her there in my memory.
The staff of Hospice Care of South Carolina wanted the family to know, that while we had Ms. Maxine as our patient, we felt honored to offer our services to her and the family. Please accept our condolences.
My mother Grace Scott and I were notified by an old neighbor of ours on Williams Drive of Maxine's death and we both want to express our deep condolences. Sue Ann and I grew up together beginning in Silver Bluff in the 1950s and were very close friends during junior high and high school. Maxine always seemed to us kids to be such a kind person and a good mother. So sorry.
David and Family I've enjoyed taking care of Mrs. Scotten for the past three years.I am going to miss her but I am always going to remember the times I had with her and I want ya'll to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers and I will never forget ya'll and I know that she is in a better place somewhere that we all have to get to one day. Take care and I will always remember the family and feel free to call me in the future if you need to. Thanks for letting me care for your mother.
