A memorial service for Mr. Wesley Everett Hussey will be held on Monday February 9, 2004 at 11am at St. John?s United Methodist Church 104 Newberry St, NW, Aiken, SC. Mr. Hussey, 81, of Aiken, died Friday February 6, 2004 at St. Joseph Hospital Hospice Center in Augusta. Memorial donations may be directed to St. Joseph Hospice, St. John?s Organ Fund or Bethlehem Lutheran Church. He was born in Dorchester County, SC and was the son of John C. and Lillian Carn Hussey. He graduated from Wofford College in 1949. Mr. Hussey was a United States Marine and served his Country as a member of the ?Black Sheep Squadron? during World War II and again during the Korean Conflict. He retired from the DuPont Corporation after 32 years of service as a chemist. He is survived by his wife, Harriett Breeland Hussey, Aiken, two daughters, Ann Rinaldi, Cincinnati, OH and Susan Beckwith, Huntsville, AL; two sons, Kenneth E. Hussey, Atlanta, GA and John W. Hussey, Frankfort, Germany. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
