Dear Andy,
My sympathy goes out to you, on your loss.
I know that you two have always been close. When I saw you out in Aiken, I knew Irene was nearby, and vice-versa.
My hope was that her passing was peaceful and serene, as I also hope for Lucille, who’s now 92. Lucille is suffering from age related dementia, and since her fall a year ago, with a broken leg, she has been pretty much confined to our house, using a walker. We do get out occasionally, as to doctor appointments, and occasionally, just for the ride. She realizes her days are numbered, and all in all, is in good spirits. My capabilities at 90 are diminishing, so the expression, “blind leading the blind”, seems often to the point.
You and Irene hold a special place in our hearts, for your welcome, back in 1983, on our first visit to Aiken since leaving in 1957. At that time, we were not thinking about moving to Aiken, but you sure helped us decide on this so happy decision.
Yours,
Vic Reilly

Last week I called to talk to Mrs. Anderson. The caregiver answered. I had no idea she was so sick. I loved her and she played a significant role in my early life.
She had such a great sense of humor, was so brilliant, and what a great laugh.
Judy and Mr. Anderson, I am so sorry for your loss.
Love
Margaret
