Dear Alice,
I thought of you today while I was taking a walk down Pine Log Road and I cried.
And I am crying now.
I don't know why this is happening today.
I think of you quite often and I usually am just terribly sad.
No crying.
I guess I just I miss you.
Everyone does.
Everyone.

We were so shocked to learn of Alice's passing, but are comforted by the knowledge that she is in heaven above looking down on all of us, spreading love and inspiration as she did in life.
We are truly blessed to have been touched by her wonderful spirit, as she gave blessings on our marriage and as she offered prayers for us when Wissam was sick and being treated for cancer. I know she was also a true inspiration to my mother when they worked together. She also showed so much care and support for our family over the years.
We will continue to pray for all of you through this difficult time and we thank God for allowing us to be touched by such an amazing woman.
Love,

To Jim and the children and grandchildren of Alice, my sincere sympathy at your loss. Alice was a classmate at Hunter College High. She was always soft spoken and kind; a peacemaker at a time when teen girls can often be at odds. I think everyone who knew Alice enjoyed her company, respected her intelligence and more importantly her integrity. She stood up for what she believed but she respected you even when you disagreed. That's a remarkable quality and I think our classmates all appreciated it. I remember her laughter. I share your sadness at her loss. May her memory always be a blessing for you.
Sincerely,
Sheila Brass Chadwick HCHS class of 1960
