I'm so sorry for your loss. I have many good memories of your dad. He slipped into the pew to sit with my folks after singing in the choir. I remember stopping by his car to say hi at the Aiken trials. Through the years he brought vegetables, apples, and peaches to our house in Aiken. He even brought a box of chocolates to my mom. He was a lovely man and I know you will miss him terribly.

Ellen, David and Peter. I was sadden to learn of the death of your father and my uncle. He truly was representative of the "greatest generation". Growing and living in the west so far from South Carolina I never spent that much time in his company, but what there was left the impression of a sweet and remarkable man. One that we would all be proud to call Dad. I wish I had a picture of him with pipe in mouth and a crusher hat on head as this is the indelible image for me. Take comfort in the love of his family and our prayers and thought are with you. Your cousin John in Colorado.

Ellen, sorry to hear of the loss of your dad, but I know you find solace in the fact that he lived such a long and fruitful life. Mom always enjoyed his presence at Shadow Oaks. Hope you find peace in all the pleasant memories you made with him over your lifetime.

Dear Family,
I am saddened to learn of the death of Mr. Ebenhack. He was a fine gentleman and a pleasure to be around. Although I did not know him until Benny became a patient at Shadow Oaks, he provided us all with laughter and lots of beautiful singing. I shall never forget him always anxiously waiting for " time to go to dinner ". He was blessed with a loving and caring family and he was loved by the staff at Shadow Oaks. I am glad to know that he rests in peace now and has added his lovely voice to the heavenly choir. God bless all of you.
Sincerely,
Pat Knight
