I played a lot of golf with Mike and my dad (Ken Chesney) when we all lived in Owatonna, MN. Mike was admittedly never a very good golfer, but he truly loved the game and would never hesitate to try a difficult shot instead of playing "winter rules." He'd hit a driver from a bunker with the confidence of a professional. If it turned out okay, he'd say, "Even a blind squirrel finds an acorn once in awhile." What a zest for life, family and faith! I count him among the good men I grew up with.
