I had lots of older brothers, but Mug had only one kid brother. That was me, and that probably explains why we had a relationship that I didn't have with the others. He was a good guy, and I'll never forget him and his family.

We send our thoughts and prayers to your family. Several months ago, I called Mr. Byrum to tell him that my mother, Roxy Bouknight, had found an old picture of Kenny at an award banquet when he was 11 or 12 years old. He was so excited to get the picture that he asked if he could come to my house right away. I had told him that I would mail it to him or Kenny, but he wanted to get the picture as soon as he could! I just wanted to share that story.

Uncle Mug will be forever remembered in my heart for his kind and loving ways, not to mention his fantastic stories. My most favorite memory is watching him jet ski off into the sunset at the lake, but better yet was when Brent had to go find him to make him come back! I'm thinking of each of you in South Carolina and love you all.

My deepest sympathies to you all. I will always smile when I recall the jet ski ride I saw Uncle Mug take on Strom Thurmond Lake a few years back. I will forever remember that he was always kind to me every time I saw him. My thoughts are with you and my prayers will include you all.
