If you could hear my heart today, you would know how empty I feel.
We visit you in our thoughts and prayers, but that does not seem to be enough, sadness is dwelling in us, and our days are not good.
Your life was truly precious, you walked through life with an open palm, helping those in need and offering your help where needed. You were an amazing person to everyone you touched and I know god's light is shining on you.
We will remember that you are always here, and that your spirit is with us. You are the tears that trickle, softly down my cheek that will help me get through the hard times, when I feel all is hopeless. You are the sound I will hear in the quiet autumn night, reminding me that you are not far away.
You will be the reason for my smile when I think of all those good times we've shared throughout the years. Still, of all the days I've lived, and all the times I have cried, nothing has been harder, than living through that day you left us.
