Obituary of William Bockhold

Funeral Liturgy for Mr. William "Bill" Bockhold will be celebrated Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday at GEORGE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTER. Mr. Bockhold, 93, of Seneca, formerly of Aiken, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Terre Haute, IN, he was a son of the late Anthony & Gertrude Bockhold. Mr. Bockhold was a retired electrician with SRS. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Monsignor George Lewis Smith Council 3684 and Assembly 1074. Until moving to Seneca he was an active communicant of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church. Mr. Bockhold was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Mrs. Alice Virginia Bockhold. Survivors include: his daughter, Pat Robinett (Greg) of Seneca; 2 grandsons, Matthew Robinett of Seneca and David Robinett (Kathryn) of Myrtle Beach; four great-grandchildren, Madilyn, Logan, Gabriel and Sophie Rose Robinett all of Myrtle Beach; 2 sisters, Rita Neal of Terre Haute, IN and Mary Ann Davis of Cortland, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.
