Obituary of Edward A Lee

Please share a memory of Edward to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
On June 19, 2014, the world lost a very special soul when Edward A. Lee passed away at his home in Riverton, Utah. Ed grew up in Aiken, attended Aiken Elementary School, Schofield Middle School, and graduated from Aiken High School. He attended Clemson University and received his Bachelor's degree and MBA from Brigham Young University. Ed worked for Microsoft Corporate Headquarters for 13 years. Ed had many admirable qualities. He was caring towards his friends, insightful with his humor, generous with his laughter, passionate about his interests, skilled in numerous areas, genuine and compassionate with his kindness, truly dedicated to his family, loving to his wife whom he adored, and most of all, loving and proud of his wonderful children who were the light of his life. Ed's death is a reminder to cherish our loved ones and the short time we all have on this earth. May he be at peace. Ed will be forever cherished in our hearts. Ed is survived by his loving wife and best friend Dianna, daughter Ashlin, sons Alex and Sam, mother Betty Ann Arnold Kanne (William), brother Robert Lee (Jennifer), brother William Kanne (Leah), many friends and family members, and his two favorite canines, Rosy and Eddy, all who loved him very much. Ed was preceded in death by his father Robert E. Lee and son Andrew Lee. A visitation will be held in Aiken on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at George Funeral Home Historic Downtown Chapel, 221 Park Avenue SW. A private family burial will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in honor of Ed. "What we have once enjoyed, we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes part of us." ~Helen Keller~
