Ed was a fabulous person. My sister Helena and I had the opportunity to meet Ed in Aiken, SC the summer '93. We had some great times hanging around him. He was such a fun person to be around. I am sorry that we loss touch with him after he went to BYU and I was at The U of U. We had a chance to catch up out in Utah back in 1995 over dinner one evening but that was the last time my sister and I spoke with him. I do send his family my deepest condolences. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.
My wife and I send our prayers for God't comfort to Ed's family. I had the pleasure of teaching Ed in Biology 2 - Honors and AP Biology at Aiken High School. Ed was not just a former student, he was a friend. When he was a student at Aiken High, he was one of those types of students who lifted the spirits of those around him. I always enjoyed his presence in my classes. May God grant you all comfort and peace.
