We talk about you daily. The grief is unbearable and no one understands including the kids and I. There is a hole in my soul and i just cry all the time. You never taught me how to use the grill! I tried everything humanly possible to get you the best treatment. I questioned doctors. I demanded clarification. I didnt just accept statements coming from someone with the title "MD". You cannot be replaced. Your stuff, I could care less. We talked about that a lot.
I'll love you forever...I'll like you for always...as long as I'm living my husband you'll be...

My husband & I both worked with Matt many moons ago at Ruby Tuesday. Matt was a sweetheart, and so much fun to be around. Although I hadn't seen or talked to him in many years, I have lots of really fun memories of working and hanging out together with our large, very close group of friends. Joey & I are very sorry to hear of the loss of Matt, especially for his wife & children. You will all be in our prayers. May God grant you peace during this time.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Matt's death and I would like to express my sincere sympathy to Matt's family on behalf of the senior management team here at Regional Management Corp. Matt was a highly respected manager by his peers and employees alike throughout the entire company.
Matt's contributions to this company during his 14 years of dedicated and selfless service were many and varied. He was a major part of our initial expansion to North Carolina and one of the first Regional employees to take on the challenge of pioneering our auto lending business. Matt made a difference in the lives of many people, both here in the company and in his private life. Regional has many employees who can thank Matt for his mentorship. His contributions will not be forgotten.

Matt and I worked together at regional finance. We used to go hang out after work and weekends. He was always willing to help anyone and always tried to joke with people.

Matt.....
It's still hard to believe you have moved on to the next place already! It was just a few weeks ago that we had plans on beating our Jeep out in SC for Memorial day weekend. I will never forget the fond memories of Matt! Until we meet again brother!

Its been a pleasure to call you my friend for the last 7years. Im gonna miss calling you and giving you hell then hanging up on you. It never took you out of character, you always laughed...because you knew I would call you back in need of another favor. I knew I could depend on you to never lead me wrong. Thats why I call you " Matt The Great"!!! Matt and i met in 1999 when i became his hairstylist. Through him i gained many other friends including his sister Kelli, Robby Powers, Phil West, just to name a few.
over the years Matt and I have shared many memories, too many to count. He and his family have a special place in my heart, always.
I am truly sorry for everyones loss who had the pleasure of knowing Matt.
