Kowalczyk Family,
I did not personallly know George but I have a sense of his nature through his son Greg, who is my friend and a good man of character and tremendous spirit.
I pray for your peace and offer my sympathy for the pain of your loss.
Greg's giving heart, sense of humor and love for life speak volumes about his father's influence. I hope my children love me like Greg loves George. Blessings and cheers to George Kowalczyk.

I am very sorry for your loss. George was my cousin, his mother and my father were brother and sister. I remember when the cousins got together and put on variety shows in the basement of Julia's house. George played the "sweet potato". Again, my sympathies. Leona Collins Forbes

I grew up in Southfield and wentto Birney in 71 to 73. I will always remember that i had the pleasure and honorplaying Football on the Birney Heavyweight Football team That went undefeated and un scored upon.Coach K was easily one of the most caring coaches I ever had,We get together once a year and drive our wives crazy talking aboutthe great team and coach. It is with a heavy heart that we send condolences to D and the Kowalczyk family on the passing of George. His smile and laughter will be missed by all he has encountered throughout the years. There was not a tear that he could not make go away with his patient ways; nor a frown that he would allow while in his presence. He brought laughter and caring to all be encountered.
