I treasured Frank's kindness. Sick as he was when last I saw him he was concerned about my flat tire. He was not a man to brag. However if he said, "I don't want you to think I am bragging but" it meant he was going to tell me about one of Dawn's accomplishments. He was so very proud of her. He adored Pat and she adored him and that was a delight to see. I will miss him but I know heaven claimed one of the good guys.

Pat, my condolences to you and your family. "Rosebud" as well called him during our Marine Corps time together in Viet-Nam because of his red head and cheeks from the hot Viet-Nam sun. We were crewmen on the same tank. When we got back from Viet-Nam he bought a brand new 1967 Ford and took both my wife and I to Darlington, S.C. to watch the Rebel 400 NASCAR race, since I was from Pennsylvania I had never seen a NASCAR race, somewhere I have a picture of he and I standing at the chain link fence while watching Richard Petty's car coming in for a pit stop, he was so excited. I have pictures of he and I on our tank and what wonderful wonderful memories of him, he was one of a kind. Most recently he flew out to Butte, Montana for a small Viet-Nam reunion. In attendance was: Spanky, Sterling, Piatt, Gordan, Cooper, and me, Isherwood.
