We just learned of Charlie's passing and we are very sorry for your great loss. What a wonderful human being! Charlie was the first to great us with that big smile every Sunday after church. Charlie was the all-time nicest human being I have every met. While I was walking my dogs, Sophie and Teddy, we would often encounter him walking his dogs. He was constantly so pleasant and polite. He was an inspiration to anyone who met him. If we could all live as kindly and gently as Charlie, this would be a better world. In fact, the world is a better place because he was here.

Charlie was one of the kindest & finest men I have ever known, and was ALWAYS the gentleman. Having lost my Dad at a young age, I remember he would offer me very gentle paternal advice now & then, when I was growing up, and I always appreciated his patience while doing so. I will miss him so very much, though I'm sure he is already charming the angels with that smile. Our love to everyone.
