Mom was strong willed, loving and loved to pick on someone when she could. She love growing beautiful flowers but most of all she loved her family. She took on a lot after Dad died and to this day
God only knows how she did what she did to keep us all together and happy. We will miss her greatly expecially her stories she told us when she was young.
Mama, We love you and know that you are right where you wanted to be, in heaven with Daddy and all of those who have gone on before you. We are so grateful that we had the opportunity to take care of you at our home these last four years. I remember you telling me that you loved your room and that it was the best house that you had ever lived in. I know that you felt that you were a burden to us as you were always aplogizing for being there. You owed no one any apologies, the truth is you were a joy to be around. I still think often of the bar-b-ques and dinners at Mama's with all my aunts, uncles, and cousins. I miss these events but will cherish the memories. Words are inadequate but, I am thankful for the love and fond memories of Aunt Alma.
Ruth, I know how much family means to you. You dearly loved and cared for your mother, all so giving of yourself. During those times you have made many memories that you can and will always cherish. Keep those memories close to your heart. May you find comfort, peace and a smile on your face when you think of your lovely mother. I love you much and will keep you and your family in my prayers.

My Sweet and Beautiful Aunt Alma
I have precious memories--She took me to the store as a young child and bought me a stuffed white kitten with blue eyes, it was real furry and soft. I have shared this story many times. Aunt Alma was always such a joy to be around. She will be missed by many.
