Obituary of Elmore Kingsbury Fabrick

Mr. Elmore Kingsbury Fabrick, 91, of Aiken, died peacefully at his home on Thursday, June 21, 2007.
Born in Harlem, IL on March 7, 1916, he was the son of the late Mr. Arthur G. Fabrick and Mrs. Harriet K. Fabrick. Mr. Fabrick graduated from the University of Florida. He served our county during WWII in the US Army, 11th Armored Division and participated at the Battle of the Bulge, earning a Purple Heart, a Bronze Star and a Silver Star. He ended his service as a Lt. Colonel in the Army Reserve. He was retired from a supervisory position at Savannah River Plant. He was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church, the Methodist Men's Club, and active with Habitat for Humanity.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his grandson, Rhett Fabrick. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary Mainland Fabrick, his sons, Dan Susan and David Nancy, and his daughters, Marie Bainbridge, Elizabeth Eberhard Brian and Lucy Fabrick, seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Memorial services, with military honors for Mr. Fabrick will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2007 at 1pm at St. John's United Methodist Church, Aiken George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Avenue, SW, Aiken is assisting the family.
