I count as one of my life's great privileges to have met and spent time with Capt. Fabrick. He was the epitome of a gentleman, and was indeed a gentle man. He was the Capt. of Co. B, 21st Armored Infantry, 11th Armored Div. My Dad was a rifleman in Co. A. Capt. Fabrick was gracious enough to talk with me about some of his WW II experiences which helped me understand more about my Dad since Dad was killed in action when I was 3 months old and I never knew him. Capt. Fabrick was a member of the Greatest Generation, a true patriot and a man who knew what the most valuable things in life are. I will miss him.
My sincere condolences to his family. May God grant you His peace and blessings.

B Company was particularly fortunate in having Elmore Fabrick as its company commander. In the company, Elmore was known as "The Captain." I first recall him in Luxembourg standing in the chowline with his messkit. He was a humble, unpretentious person. It was a privilege to know Elmore Fabrick.

Elmore Fabrick or "Captain" as I have come to repectfully call him will remain a friend and an honorary member of my family tree. He has earned his place on the tree because he was my grandfather's captain during the great World War II. Elmore and my grandfather along with all the members of Company B, 21st Armored Infantry Battalion, 11th Armored Division will forever be part of my family because they were "comrades in arms" with my grandfather. May the "Captain" rest peacefully.

Dear Sir,
I just learned about Elmore Fabrick's passing away on last June 27th. I know I'm a little bit late but you would be a gentleman if you could forward my sincere condolences to his widow from his friend of Belgium, Roger Marquet.
Elmore fought as a captain during the Battle of the Bulge in my tiny village of Chenogne and it is something I'll never forget just like I would never forget him.
my our sadness.
Thank you so much, Sir.
A Belgian citizen,
Roger Marquet

We have known no finer man than Elmore and are so thankful for the privilege to have been among his many friends. When we transferred to St Johns from a church in Rockford, Ill some years ago, he immediately befriended us and we chatted often about Rockford and nearby Harlem his birthplace and those frigid winters !

I was not surprised when I heard of Elmo's purple heart and silver star in church this morning. He was indeed part of the Great Generation, and all the time I knew him, he was always engaged in some worthwhile activity. I loved him for his zest for life. Condolences, old friends, Marie, Dan..., and especially to you Mrs. Fabrick. Steve, Jennie, and family.
