Dearest Brother and Nephew,
Diane was loved dearly by our entire family. Her sweetness brought great pleasure to all of us! I myself remember the times we spent in Luling,Charlotte,Grand Rapids MN.,various houses in Michigan & the one in Aiken. We were all family...
She is safe now, with no pain, she is happy. Mom was there to greet her and you guys know that! One day we can all be together. There is another place..another realm to where we go, but we are still here! How I know, you won't believe me, but I know. She is at peace. I will see you soon.
Love always, Kevin

Dear Dennis and Denny,
It's hard to believe that Diane is gone. She was one of my very, very best friends. Although we didn't talk on the phone or get together too often in recent years, when we did, it seemed like time between phone visits just melted away and we picked right up where we left off.
It was a privilege being Diane's maid-of-honor at your wedding and, Dennis of course you know this you were the love of her life!
My thoughts and prayers go out to you and Denny during this time of sadness and grief.

My wife worked with Diane for almost four years and we both got to know her and her husband very well. She was a wonderful, caring, kind, giving woman who will be sorely missed as her presence, her smile, and her light are irreplaceable. Dennis, you and the family are in our thoughts and prayers on the loss of an angel.

I worked with Diane at Harlow Law Firm for about four years. Everyone in the office could always count on her for an encouraging word, a spontaneous laugh or seasoned advice. Diane was a wonderful woman and I am so lucky to have had the privilege to know her.

I already miss that sweet smile and infectious humor that I always encountered with Mrs. Scherer. I appreciate the short amount of time I got to spend with her but considered her a wonderfully spirited woman who I would never forget.
Much love and sadness...

Even tho I only met Diane the one time. Last Thanksgiving. My daughter was dating Denny at the time. She and her family had me and my daughter over. I just thought how incredibly nice it was for her to have me over to her home not really knowing me and then to also fix me a plate to take home. She was such a nice lady. I'm glad I got to met her.

To our Beloved Brother and Nephew,
We will never be able to find the right words to express our sorrow to you at the loss of your precious wife and mother, and our dear friend. She was truly a beautiful soul who was taken from us much too soon.
We know Diane meant the world to you and that you will struggle to understand her passing. We pray that her beautiful memories will keep you both strong.
We are thinking of you,
David & Sharon
