To the Glover Family, Thomas and Adam, I knew your dad well and he was a very good man. I'm sorry for your loss and I will miss him greatly. I remember when you two were born and how happy and proud he was. That's how I choose to remember him. He and I worked closely together for about 3 years and shared a lot of good times that I will cherish. Heaven has another angel now that I'm sure will be watching over you. To all the Glover family... Was out of town and unable to attend visitation or services. So sorry to hear about Carl. I have many, many good memories and we shared many a laugh together over the last 50 years. Have many memories of making my mom take me to the farmers market in augusta just so I could see Carl. He was a very hard worker as long as I can remember. He will truly be missed by many. Will continue to pray for the family as you adjust to your life of happy memories and prepare to see him again.

I've known Carl for many years. He was a great friend that'd give you the shirt off of his back. I've never heard him talk ill of anyone and never heard anyone talk ill of him. He was a consumate "good guy" that will be missed. God speed my friend.

To the Glovers - it was a pleasure knowing Carl, going to church, our mens faith sharing group and just being around him. Carl & I spoke several times a week,sometimes just to check on one another. He was always cuttin' up or joking with you. We attended our weekly friendship grouping, where we shared our faith experiences, prayed together and broke bread together. Boy could that man eat. I think he enjoyed that part, since many times we'd send him home with some of the left overs. We all enjoyed each others company, and grew spiritually. Carl truly loved his family and did a pretty job from what I could tell. He was always willing to help out someone in need. I know that he supported us through several issues, usually vehicle related. We'll miss his wit, charm and sense of hospitality. I truly believe that Carl has found his peace in Christ.
We love you Carl. Rest in peace my friend.

I first met Carl in high school 1978-1979. He was a special friend, always cutting up, laughing, making everyone smile. I have seen him here and there over the years, and he was always the same - laughing, smiling, cutting up. I am sorry for your loss. I worked with Carl for over 15 years when I managed the Site Utilities Department at the SRS. I knew Carl well. He was a hard worker and self-starter as an operator and as a manager and he expected the same of everyone else. We sure could have used more like him. Carl had a great smile and friendly chuckle. I'll never forget that sly smile of his. I'm saddened to see him pass so young. Put in a good word for me Carl!

My condolences go out to the entire Glover family. Carl was one of the most honest and helpful people I have ever met. I bought my house from Carl and have been grateful to him ever since. I knew if I couldn't find a water shutoff I could call Carl and he would tell me exactly where it was or come over and find it. The world was a better place because he was in it. I'm sure his Mom was there to meet him.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Glover Family. From experience, we share in the loss of Carl through the loss of my brother in 2009. It is never easy to say goodbye and know that the voice you will not hear again BUT it will give you great comfort in knowing that regardless of the physical, Carl is and will always be with you. May the love that you shared give you vivid memories of him always. There was not a time that I don't remember Carl's love for his family shining brightly.
