I worked with Jamie during his time at KFSH and shared many memories since through letters and cards. I have fond recollections of his sincerity and ability to serve both as a professional mentor and a friend. The favorite memory Jim and I have is of a very small New Year\'s Eve party at Jamie\'s place in the Low Rise where we all risked jail or worse to come dressed in costume for a New Year\'s Eve feast and celebration. Donna Behler in a feather boa; Don and Cathie Boyles as the "old" and "new" year and my husband Jim as a Chippendale dancer. Passing years have made that no longer a costume option. We will raise a glass to toast Jamie and his life this New Years.

My deepest condolences to all Jamie\'s family and friends. Jamie was such an incredible person! I was lucky to be one of his friends in Nashville and enjoyed going out to eat ethnic food with him, dinners at his home, and rides on his boat. His accomplishments were impressive, but most impressive to me was his dedication to his family and friends, his zest for life, art, flowers, and beauty, his intelligence, his quest for knowledge, his interest in making a difference in this world and his compassion for others. I miss him and know that God is surrounding us with love and comfort to lift us up during this time of sadness.

I remember Jamie as a 7 or 8 year old youngster with many interests and hobbies. I remember him with "EnRico" the parrot and the tricks he had taught him. I have enjoyed my ninety years and wish Jamie could have had the same longevity. My thoughts are with the Brodie family.

I shall always think of Jamie as "my little brother." His creativity and love of people, animals and plants was evident as a youngster when I knew him best. It doesn\'t surprise me that he left such a humanitarian legacy. "Juddie and Kari", I mourn with you and look back with pleasure on the wonderful teenage years that I was part of your family. My love to your mother and father

All our thoughts are with you at this sad, sad time. I have so many wonderful memories of growing up with Jamie in Brunswick. Every time I make popcorn balls I will remember the times we got together in the Brodie kitchen--we certainly shared a sweet tooth! With his passing I feel a bit of my childhood is now gone.

I sold Jamie a boat and enjoyed doing business with him. Jamie was on my short list of preferred customers. I am shocked and very saddened to hear of his passing.
