James Arthur Langille Jr. James Arthur Langille Jr., ''Big Jim'', 78, husband of Irene Langille, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2003 at his residence. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Southlawn Cemetery with Chaplain Cathy Cole officiating. Friends may call at the residence of Mr. Langille at 1464 Lyon Dr., Aiken. Mr. Langille was born in Arlington, Mass., to the late James Arthur and Clair Langille. He is also predeceased by his daughter, Sandra Pittman. He retired after 19 years of service with the U.S. Navy, and also retired after 11 years of service with Beloit Manhattan as a supervisor. James moved to Aiken from Asheville, N.C. 24 years ago. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Ashville, the VFW and the American Legion. Survivors include his wife; sons, Douglas Langille of Greenville, Michael Langille of Atlanta and David Langille of Aiken; daughter, Beverly Langille of Augusta; a brother, Richard Langille of Massachusetts; grandchildren, Angela, Lori Dylan, Andrew, Jeremy and Daniel; and great-granddaughter, Lauren.
