My memories of Bonnie go back to the band at Aiken High School, and our connection continued through St. Thaddeus Church, where she and my mother, Mary An. Wheat, continued their friendship which began when Bonnie was one of her math students and service through the Daughters of the King. I always enjoyed reconnecting with Bonnie when I visited Aiken and St. Thaddeus, and very much admired her care and devotion to her parents. I will miss seeing her--and am sorry that her loving energy is no longer with us.
