Funeral services for Mr. Donald ?Don? Franklin Johnson will be held Friday, August 26, 2005 at 11 AM at the Fountain of Life Fellowship, Aiken, SC, with Pastor Lonnie S. Brazell and Pastor Patricia Lucas officiating. Interment will follow in Rocky Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Kitchings Mill, SC. Pallbearers will be Tony Johnson, Tony Rogers, Glenn Johnson, Frankie Rogers, Mike House, Ronnie Hamilton, & Jamie Davis. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 25, 2005 from 6 until 8 PM at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC.
Don, 42, of Aiken, SC, died Tuesday, night, August 23, 2005.
Born in and a lifelong resident of Aiken, SC, a son of Ollie Williams Johnson Herron and the late Frank Gwenn Johnson, Don proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was an active member of the Fountain of Life Fellowship, where he played drums and was a Royal Rangers Commander. Don also volunteered for Christ Central and enjoyed camping, fishing, and water skiing. He loved his Harley. ?Live To Ride - Ride To Live?
He is survived by his wife, Teresa Rogers Johnson, mother, Ollie Williams Johnson Herron, Bill Aiken, SC; children, Amanda Nicole Johnson, Wagener, SC and Joshua Colton and Amber Dawn Johnson, both of North Augusta, SC; sister, Martha Johnson House, Aiken, SC; brothers, Glenn William Johnson, Wagener, SC and Tony Allen Johnson, Windsor, SC; and grandchildren, Dylan Frank and Sierra Faye Johnson.
