My deepest condolences on losing such a sweet wife, mother, grandmother. Jackie and Bill were fun to have in the Euchre group. They always joked with each other and the rest of us and, yes, there was some competition. I admired Jackie's positive attitude and the fact that she never complained. She set a wonderful example. Her friendliness, smile and laughter made her so very special and we will miss her.

Bill - If Ginny Appel were still with us, she would tell you how sorry she is to learn of the
loss of her good friend Jackie. I remember seeing a photo of Ginny with three
classmates; one of those 'girls' was Jackie. Remember the happy times. It helps!

As a member of the Newark High School Class of 1953, Jackie was truly a jewel amongst jewels. She served as our Class Treasurer, and I was deeply saddened by her passing.

We stopped in last summer for an impromptu visit with Jackie and Bill as we were headed home from vacation. They were both so gracious and welcoming. We had not seen their home in Aiken and they happily showed us around and even served us lunch. The secret to the best chicken salad is lemon kurd. We enjoyed a lovely afternoon with them talking about everything under the sun. What a truly warm and loving couple!
We are so happy we had the opportunity to spend that time with them. How wonderful that we can share this memory we have of that day with others.
