My aunt Pete will always be remembered as a sweet lady with a beautiful smile. She always took the time to make others feel special and loved. My favorite memory is when shge came to visit me in Charlotte NC and my son Stefen was around 3 years old and thought she was a kid and took her by the hand and ask her to play in his room and she did without hesitation.
I regret not going by to see her last time I was close by her house.

I never saw my sweet Aunt without a smile on her face. Our birthdays were only a few days apart and she always told me that as I grew up and made me feel special. I have a feeling I wasn't the only one. Aunt Pete lived a simple life without many material possessions. What she was rich in was love. She loved her family and always made sure that you not only heard the words "I love you", but that you actually felt loved. I never heard a single negative word come from her. This world has lost a special soul and heaven has gotten even sweeter now. I am sure she heard "well done" from our Savior. Her heart was pure as gold and our hearts will never be the same. I am going to miss her and I am praying for Lee and Dicky every day. I hope they are able to know that we love them and they are not alone in their grief. Everyone who knew her will miss her too. I am sorry I can not be there to give hugs and share tears with y'all today, but I am there in spirit and I love y'all!
Love

She was my great aunt and helped my mother out more than anyone else after me and my twin brother were born. Every time my brother had to have a surgery, she was there supporting my mother. In her late years I feel grateful that she still remembered me and my brother and always made sure she had the opportunity to give us a hug. She lived a unique life with it's own strengths and challenges, but she will always be remembered for her kind heart.

Pete was always a very quiet kind and loving person. For someone so tiny she will surely leave a huge hole in the lives of those who loved her.
