We will miss Richard so much here in Maryland. He was such a horse lover and the horses loved him. It will be with great sadness when we next go to the park knowing he will not be there to greet us with treats and conversation. He was always so supportive and such a gentleman. God bless your family at this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Alison, Megan & Nan (and Blondie, Champ, Diesel, Tower, La Niña, Jack & Fancy)

Love and prayers to each of you and remembering Richard as such a sweetheart of a man. The last time I spoke with Richard he was at your Mom's house and we talked about old times and it was such a wonderful conversation to have and remember. My heart is with you all and always will be. I too, was shocked to learn of Richard's passing. I think Bonnie described Richard perfectly. He and his family were such an important and happy part of my life growing up. After my first husband died, Richard was on his way home to Aiken for a family visit. He stopped by to see me. We visited for hours catching up on each other, family and friends. A kind and special friend that I shall always remember. Love and prayers to you, Becki, Pam and Bobbi. Lydia Conway

Pam, Becky, and Bobby. How shocked I am to hear of Richard's illness and passing. Please accept my deepest condolences and love for a dear friend. I remember when we first moved into the community and Richard was one of the first to offer me friendship. He was so much fun to be with and always a complete "southern gentleman"... opening the door for me, seating me at a table, qualities that reflected his kindness and respect. I will always cherish his memory and feel honored to have known him. May God give you comfort and peace. With love, Bonnie
