A Mass of Christian Burial for Stephanie Ellen Siler will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 29th at 10am at St. Mary Help of Christians Church, Aiken. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Aiken. There will be a wake service on Tuesday evening at 6pm at George Funeral Homes Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave. SW Aiken. The family will receive friends after the service, until 8pm at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be directed to St. Mary Help of Christians School, PO Box 438, Aiken, SC 29802. Stephanie, age 10, of Batesburg, died Saturday at Medical College of Georgia. She was born in Cape Coral, FL and had lived in Batesburg since 1996. Stephanie attended Ridge Spring Elementary School where in 2004-2005, she made the honor roll, three of four quarters. Prior to this year, she attended St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic School in Aiken and was also a communicant at St. Mary Help of Christians Church. She loved soccer, playing in the Aiken Youth league before moving to the Gilbert league two years ago. Riding her bike and playing with her brother and sisters were two of her favorite pastimes. She is survived by her parents; Timothy J. and Staci Fasnacht Siler, a brother; Timothy ?TJ? Siler, two sisters; Jennifer Jean Siler and Maria Sophia Siler, maternal grandparents; Ellen Jenks, North Ft. Meyers, FL and Dean Merrill, Anchorage, AK, paternal grandparents; Harry & Donna Siler, St. Petersburg, FL and Joan & Bob Anders, Venice, FL. Stephanie is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Friends are invited to bring pictures/movies that show Stephanie during her life to be shown Tuesday evening. Her parents encourage friends to write about their memories of Stephanie on this website and also on paper at the visitation.
