Herbert had a sweet spirit and was so faithful to visit my mother when he came back "home" to TN. He was my brother\'s dear friend who preceded him in death and they are now united. We will miss him as he was like family to me as one of "Mother\'s boys". Pauline and family, may God give you comfort in knowing that he is now "at Home" awaiting your arrival.

Polly, Debra, & Pam,
I just found out a few minutes ago about the passing of
Herbert. I felt like it was all I could do to keep from
fainting. I had just written a Thank you note to you
and Herbert, Polly, over the weekend and to sweet Pam for calling
to extend her sympathies following Harold\'s passing. Please accept
my sincere heartfelt sympathy to all of your family.
Herbert Parrott has a crown awaiting him in Heaven at the precious
feet of our wonderful Saviour. He influenced many
a young person at Corinth with his Christian life and dedication to the church.
He will be sorely missed. I will be calling on all you to extend my deepest of
all sympathy. I feel like I have lost a member of my immediate

Herbert and I grew up together. He and my brother Bill were GOOD friends. I was a good friend of his sisters. Our Parents were friends. We loved the whole family. We will miss Herbert. I never knew of him being anything but the best! We loved him.

The verse above quoted from Daniel is the verse I think of when I think of Mr. Parrott. I feel so blessed to have known such a Godly man & I will truly miss his beautiful smile & warm hugs even though months & years went by between our visits! I dearly loved him & consider him one of my earthly fathers that God sent into my life. Mr. Parrott\'s life represented his love for His Lord, his family & his fellowman. I\'m sure our Lord received him into His loving arms in the beautiful city of heaven! Knowing that we will only be separated for a short time while we are on earth remember the comfort of all of us spending time forever in eternity & never being seperated again because of our love for our Lord!
You are very dear to me & I feel so blessed to have known all of you and to have shared part of my life with all of you through my friendship with Vicki and I just want all of you to know you are in my daily prayers & will forever be in my heart!
