Joey was so gracious when Shakerag hunted with Aiken Hounds on Nov. 12. One of our very active and supportive members, Leslie Scott, had a flat tire on the way to the meet. Leslie was bringing 4 MFHA Fairly Hunted riders so the juniors could experience a joint meet. When I explained the situation to Joey, she delayed the hunt saying that she would gladly accommodate anyone who introduces juniors to our sport of foxhunting. Leslie was only about 10 minutes late, and we all got to watch the two packs work together as they chased a coyote. Godspeed, Joey

Jim, and family I was so shocked to hear of Joey's accident and passing, I will always remember her generosity of places to stay and hunting with her, the best was back in 2002 when my mom and I stayed with you in Aiken and if you remember Mom was dating Dick Corrigan and she was like a teenager waiting for his calls, Joey and I laughed about that all weekend.
