Funeral services for Mr. Robert ?Bob? Elwood Cain will be held Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at 1pm at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Avenue, SW, Aiken, with Dr. Fred Andrea officiating. Interment will follow in Bethany Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Matt Cain, Richard Fulmer, Craig O'Dell, Jerry O'Dell, Cecil Gray, and Bill Long. Honorary pallbearers will be, Charles Beason, Sr., Bill Bentley, Allen Willingham, Butch McGee, Jeff Taylor, John Heaton, Ed Holsonback, Earl Hite, Bob Fulmer, and Dan Magness. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 ? 8pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Diabetes Association, Always & Forever Memorial Program, Attn: ADA Web, PO Box 2680, N. Canton, OH, 44720. Mr. Cain, 80, of Aiken, died Sunday, September 30, 2007 at his residence. A lifelong resident of Aiken, he was the son of the late William C. and Pauline McClain Cain. He was a member of Aiken's First Baptist Church. He owned Aiken Welding Company for fifteen years. He retired as a welder and boiler inspector in 1988 from Daniel International. He was a Mason. He is survived by his wife of fifty seven years, Jean Craig Cain, son, Ted Susan Cain, Nashville, TN, daughter, Carolyn Cain, Tucker, GA, grandchildren, Matt Cain, and Erin Cain.
