I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Uncle Bob. I have a very fond memory of Uncle Bob. It is amazing the things you remember as a child, But one time I was visting there, he took me to his welding shop, in downtown Aiken. I had never seen welding before, and he was building fences that day. He told me over and over again to not look at the light when he was welding. To this day, everytime I see someone welding, and when I look away, I remember the very good advice he gave me. I'm sure there are a lot of fences around Aiken that he made, and are still in use.
